All the instruments on display are made of wood and cords. Multiplis are not in use in his workshop. All species of massive wood have had a fifteen-year natural seasoning.
The obstinate though devoted stringed-instrument maker insists on mastering the making from beginning to end and produces everything himself (inlaid work, fling, nut...)
Apart from the cords, everything is made in Philip's workshop, with his own hands. He wants to achieve the best sound quality for his instruments, yet all of them can be amplified.
He collaborates with Olivier PONT, stringed-instrument maker of DINAN who offers a very good quality system.
The costs for all instruments (guitars, mandolins, Irish bouzoukis, 4-cord guitars, hukulele, dobros etc.) range from 1800 € to 5000 €.
